In Epic Mickey: Restored Edition[]

Mickey arrives in Underland after his second visit to the Ticket Booth. Here he finds that the Red Queen, who is truly a scrapped version of the Queen of Hearts, has been ruling with an iron fist and punishing anyone for literally any reason. Mickey first arrives in the Overgrown Village, where the Mad Hatter and March Hare confront Mickey and question if he's with the Red Queen. Mickey denies this and responds that he's looking for a rocket piece that apparently was brought here. The White Rabbit then comes up to Mickey and explains how the Red Queen's rule has been much more barbaric ever since the Blot Wars ended. The White Rabbit says that he, the Mad Hatter, and March Hare were planning a revolution. However, the Red Queen has a mechanized Jabberwock at her disposal, making an attack on her futile. Mickey agrees to help them take out the Jabberwock while he's looking for the rocket part and looks for a way to access Tugley Woods. Mickey unlocks the Eat Me Sketch and uses it to shrink into a knothole leading to the Tugley Woods projector.

Arriving to Tugley Woods, Mickey's brush gets snatched by a Swooping, leaving him to rely on his basic moves and sketches. While using the Eat Me Sketch to shrink down and navigate a small gap, Mickey meets the Cheshire Cat, who informs Mickey that the Red Queen indeed holds the rocket part the Mad Doctor sent to Underland and that she's in denial of being scrapped. Cheshire Cat opens a door leading to the The Red Queen's Gardens, however he still needs to regain his Brush from the Swoopwing. After reaching the Swoopwing and taking back his Brush Mickey goes off to The Red Queen's Gardens.

Upon arrival to the Gardens, Mickey navigates the shrub maze, battles a Slop Spawner, and finds the Pete of Hearts on trial by The Red Queen for picking one of her garden's roses. He is immediately found guilty and sent to the Queen's dungeon for later beheading. Mickey immediately steps in to call out The Red Queen for her behavior and what it's doing to her people but ends up only angering the Queen even more. She has Mickey sent with the Pete of Hearts to the Court Maze to battle the Jabberwock. The Red Queen's Card Guards force Mickey into the Projector leading to the Court Maze.

In the Court Maze, Mickey battles the Jabberwock by either redeeming or defeating it. He also has the option to free the Pete of Hearts from his cell, saving him from his fate. With the Jabberwock's defeat, The Red Queen allows Mickey to leave with the Rocket part. Depending on how the Jabberwock was dealt with, The Red Queen would be inspired to be a better leader upon the Jabberwock's redemption, or she would continue to act ruthless but get overthrown by rebellion after the Jabberwock's destruction.
